Retrieved May 5, 2007.〕 ==Content== Backstory: The original writer, Nathan Winkler went to a talent show/music event and was mesmerised by the MC for the evening. He went home that Friday night and couldn't sleep, so he put his thoughts into words. In the album version the narrator falls in love with someone she has only just seen, but is too nervous to make a move. She hopes the stranger will respond as well and "meet () in the middle." The demo of the song was given to the girl that the song was written for, but they never met.
